Japandi apartment with oak slat walls, branch chandelier, and green velvet banquette.
Design Palette
Branch chandelier connects living, dining banquette, and open kitchen
About This Design
We unified this multi-bedroom apartment by repeating one set of materials: oak slat walls, light cabinetry, smoked-glass wardrobes, and a cream palette punctuated by green velvet and brass. The slat wall is the connective thread tying every room together.
Design Tip
Repeat one signature material across every room to unify a multi-zone home. Here, oak slat walls appear on the living TV wall, two bedroom headboards, a dressing room, and the hallway niche. Repetition holds it together when furniture changes.

Spatial Approach
The home opens around a public living-dining-kitchen zone anchored by the branch chandelier, with a second open layout featuring the green velvet banquette. Private bedrooms and dressing rooms cluster off a central hallway lined with the slat wall.
Best For
Designed for couples or small families wanting a Japandi apartment that handles entertaining and rest equally well. Wood slat walls, smoked-glass wardrobes, and warm oak finishes suit anyone who wants Scandinavian calm with Japanese restraint.
