About This Design
We designed this bar as a bright counterpoint to darker industrial spaces, using white marble and natural wood to create a clean, welcoming surface that invites guests to sit. The arched alcove behind the bar combines wine storage with architectural interest, framing bottles as display pieces. Trailing greenery cascading from above adds life and movement to the exposed concrete ceiling.
Design Tip
Pair white marble with raw wood bases to balance polish with warmth in a bar setting. Use arched alcoves behind the bar to turn wine storage into architectural display. Let trailing plants cascade naturally from above to soften exposed concrete ceilings without adding fixtures.

Spatial Approach
The white marble counter sits perpendicular to the back wall, creating a natural barrier between the service area and the seating zone. An arched alcove behind houses wine shelving at a recessed depth, framing bottles as display objects rather than just inventory. Trailing greenery along the ceiling edge connects the concrete overhead to the wood bar base below.
Best For
Cocktail bars, wine bars, or upscale coffee shops where the counter is the focal point and most customers sit facing the bartender. Suited for small-footprint venues that need to feel open despite limited square footage.
