About This Design
Warm Transitional
We used navy cabinetry with brass hardware and backlit glass shelves to give this bar the gravitas of a club room while keeping it accessible. The marble island seats five with cream barrel barstools that add softness against cool stone. Warm wood floors and a barn door detail add casual warmth.
Design Tip
Choose barstools 10 to 12 inches shorter than your counter height. For a 36-inch bar, 24 to 26-inch seats work best. Upholstered barrel chairs without arms allow guests to pivot freely during long gatherings.

The island runs parallel to the back bar with a 42-inch service aisle between them. Five barstools face the back bar display, making every seat a view of curated shelving. A barn door on the right connects to adjacent rooms.
