About This Design
Industrial Traditional
We built atmosphere by covering all walls in deep charcoal paneling and filling the room with worn cognac leather. The Chesterfield sits opposite structured armchairs across a black slate table, creating a conversation pit. A live olive tree prevents the dark palette from feeling heavy, while jute rug grounds the seating zone.
Design Tip
In a dark lounge, add one organic element to break visual weight. A large olive, fig, or rubber tree adds height and natural color without disrupting the moody atmosphere. Use a plain terracotta or black ceramic pot.

Seating arranges in a conversation circle around a low round coffee table. The Chesterfield runs along one wall while armchairs face it. The olive tree occupies a corner that would otherwise be dead space. One window allows a controlled slice of light.
