About This Design
Modern Transitional
We designed this terrace to bring the architecture into outdoor living. The four tall black-frame windows set the visual rhythm, and we carried that same black metal into the railing, sconces, and dining chair frames. White brick keeps the backdrop clean. Rattan seating introduces natural texture. Olive trees in white planters anchor each end.
Design Tip
When your terrace faces a structured facade, let the architecture set the design direction. Here black window frames defined the metal finish. We matched the railing and sconces to that same finish so the whole exterior reads as one resolved composition.

The lounge group occupies the center third of the terrace, placed to face the interior through glass doors. The dining set positions at the near end where natural light is strongest. Olive trees at each far end create soft enclosure without blocking the facade.
