Japandi studio with five zones: office, lounge, dining, TV, bar. White linen and warm wood.
Design Palette
Floating wood shelves frame the open dining and bar zone
About This Design
We designed five distinct zones within a single open floor plan, using warm oak slats, white linen upholstery, and black metal accents to define each area. Natural wood, dark floors, and wabi-sabi ceramics unify the space with calm, functional restraint.
Design Tip
Anchor each zone with a distinct rug rather than walls. In open studios, a shag rug beneath the seating signals the living area without blocking sightlines to the dining zone behind it.

Spatial Approach
We organized five zones along one open floor plate: a lounge anchored by the sectional, a dining set backed by floating shelves, a wood slat TV wall, a dual-monitor office desk, and a boucle reading nook.
Best For
Ideal for remote professionals and urban renters who need a Japandi studio home office that pulls full-time work duty without sacrificing dining and lounge space. Our online interior designer approach proves one room can hold five zones.
