About This Design
We layered tropical greenery, Mesoamerican murals, and Mexican folk art across five distinct zones, mixing hand-painted chairs and Talavera ceramics with industrial concrete, velvet banquettes, and neon accents to create a maximalist dining experience.
Design Tip
Anchor a maximalist restaurant with one large-scale mural per zone to create visual destinations that guide guests through the space. Use neon signs sparingly as focal points rather than ambient lighting, and balance bold pattern on chairs with neutral flooring.

Spatial Approach
We divided the restaurant into distinct zones: a mural-anchored main dining room, a marble tequila bar, green velvet booth seating behind brass rods, themed restrooms, a rooftop bar with geometric tile, and an outdoor pergola patio with string lights.
Best For
Full-service Mexican restaurants, taqueria concepts, or Latin-inspired hospitality venues in cities like Miami that want strong cultural identity across multiple rooms. The multi-zone layout handles varied group sizes from casual bar seating to private booth dining.
