About This Design

We built this room around one focal idea: a pink house-shaped headboard that makes sleep feel like a little world of its own. Fairy lights drape from the roofline and cloud night lights glow inside the peak, so the bed becomes the most inviting spot in the room. On the opposite wall, bunny and balloon decals float across a clean white surface above a cream dresser, keeping the imagination active without pattern overload.
Design Tip
A house-shaped headboard works best when you treat it as an architectural element rather than just furniture. Build or source one that fills at least two-thirds of the wall width so it anchors the room. Add lighting inside the peak, whether cloud fixtures or small warm bulbs, and drape fairy lights from the roofline to blur the line between furniture and feature wall. This approach delivers a statement bedroom without the commitment of paint or wallpaper.
