About This Design

Warm Contemporary

We presented two color proposals for one home office: deep teal cabinetry with a vertical wood slat accent panel, and white cabinetry with blonde oak surfaces. Both versions share an Eames lounge chair, a floating desk, and industrial pendants for a polished, current workspace.

Design Tip

Choose your dominant wall color before selecting furniture upholstery. A bold cabinet color like hunter teal grounds a room when balanced with warm wood tones and neutral fabric, so no single element overwhelms the space.

Spatial Approach

We centered the reading zone on the window, placing the lounge chair to capture natural light while keeping the desk zone to the right wall. Built-in cabinetry along the full left wall maximizes storage without consuming floor area, leaving the center open.

Best For

Ideal for remote professionals seeking a teal built-in home office with a reading nook. This dual-color proposal approach helps clients compare two cabinet color options before committing to paint or cabinetry finishes.
