Whole-home transitional design with oak millwork and shiplap wainscoting. Wood beams and black iron accents.
Design Palette
Curated gallery wall anchors a dual-sofa open-plan living room.
About This Design
White and cream walls with shiplap wainscoting, warm oak millwork, and black iron accents form a consistent material language throughout. Every room shares the same neutral foundation while each gets one distinct moment: a wood beam ceiling, a fluted vanity, or a gallery wall.
Design Tip
In a large open-plan living room, place two sofas facing each other instead of one sofa facing a TV. A gallery wall becomes the focal point, keeping the room a sitting room. Match Roman shades across all windows to unify the layout.

Spatial Approach
Open living and dining share a beam ceiling that defines zones without a wall. Each room gets one material hero: herringbone tile in bathrooms, fluted oak in the primary vanity, built-in shelves in the office. Shiplap and oak consoles link hallways.
Best For
Families redesigning an entire home who want a cohesive neutral foundation across living, dining, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, office, and outdoor spaces. Best suited to new construction or full renovations where every room is addressed at once.
