Seven rooms united by forest green velvet, walnut woodwork, and brass from entry to basement.
Design Palette
Green velvet sectional anchors an open living-to-dining flow.
About This Design
We layered retro-influenced shapes with modern material restraint across every room. Reeded walnut, brass hardware, and organic forms repeat from the entry console to the basement bar. Each room carries its own personality while sharing a common palette of warm cream, forest green, and walnut brown.
Design Tip
Repeat one material across every room to create cohesion without uniformity. Here, reeded walnut appears in seven distinct pieces from entry to basement, acting as a thread that ties each room's personality together without matching them.

Spatial Approach
The main floor flows from entry hall through wainscoted corridor into open living, dining, and kitchen. The basement zones into media, game, and bar areas anchored by a structural black column used as a deliberate design feature rather than hidden.
Best For
Best for families wanting a full-home transformation that works for both adult entertaining and children's daily use. Covers virtual interior design for open plan homes, kids bedroom design, basement finishing, and whole-house color palette planning.
Common Questions
How did you keep such a large open-plan home from feeling disconnected?
The powder room wallpaper is very bold. How do you know when a small room can handle a strong pattern?
What made you choose a navy stripe wallpaper for the boy's bedroom instead of paint?
How did you design a basement that feels finished rather than like a typical rec room?
The master bedroom is very calm compared to the rest of the home. Was that intentional?
