About This Design

We designed this butler pantry as a self-contained prep station that bridges the kitchen and dining room. The cream shaker lowers with brass bar pulls anchor the base, while two thick floating walnut shelves above display cookware and serving pieces. The wine cooler is recessed under the counter so it reads as cabinetry rather than appliance.
Design Tip
Recess a wine cooler flush with the cabinet base so the door face aligns with your cabinet doors. Treat the wine cooler as one more lower cabinet in your layout plan rather than an appliance you're fitting in afterward. This keeps the base run looking like a single piece of furniture rather than a patchwork.
