About This Design
Mid-Century Eclectic
This guest bedroom needed personality for short stays. We installed a vibrant orange glass partition to separate the sleep zone from the entry. The geometric wall art picks up the orange and adds pattern without wallpaper. Wood slat walls and a brown upholstered headboard ground the bright accents. Colorful abstract artwork above the headboard anchors the room with personality, while mixed-pattern pillows and a textured throw add layers that invite you to stay.
Design Tip
Use colored glass or acrylic panels to divide space without blocking light. They add bold color in a reversible way that paint cannot match. Start with neutral bedding and let artwork be the color source - it is easier to swap later.
