About This Design
Modern Spa
We built this bathroom around the spa experience: a freestanding tub for soaking, open shelving for visual calm, and marble walls that reflect light softly. The wood vanity adds warmth that prevents the all-white marble from feeling clinical. Dual oval mirrors break the rectangular grid of tile and cabinetry, while brass sconces provide warm-toned light at face height.
Design Tip
Open shelving below the vanity makes a bathroom feel larger by revealing floor space. Style with rolled towels, a basket, and one plant. Keep it to three items maximum per shelf to maintain the spa feel.
